Want to snack on something fun this summer? Here are some summer snacks you can make at home. They are tasty, easy to make, and they will help you cool down on a hot summer day. You can eat them by yourself or share them with friends and family!
Snack 1: Banana Popsicles
For these popsicles you will need: -One banana -¼ cup of chocolate chips (I use stevia sweetened chocolate chips) -Popsicle sticks
Take your banana and slice it into big chunks. I did not cut my banana thick enough, so make sure you cut yours thicker than mine.
Stick your banana slices onto the popsicle sticks and place them on a baking sheet or plate lined with parchment paper. Next, take your chocolate chips and melt them in the microwave for 1-2 minutes.
Take your bananas with popsicle sticks and dip them halfway into the chocolate then place them onto your lined baking sheet or plate.
Then, put them into the freezer overnight and enjoy!
Snack 2: Loaf Popsicles
For this snack you will need: -A loaf pan -Any smoothie recipe (I used blueberry cheesecake which needed 2 cups blueberries, 1 cup cream cheese, 1 cup plain Greek yogurt, and 4 tbsp honey) -Popsicle sticks
First, blend up the ingredients for your smoothie in a blender.
Next, line your loaf pan with plastic wrap and pour in your smoothie.
Then, cover your pan with aluminum foil and poke holes in it that are about an inch apart. Place your popsicle sticks in the holes.
Freeze overnight, then let them sit for a few minutes out of the freezer to cut it. After you cut the popsicles, use the plastic wrap to pull them out and enjoy!
Snack 3: Frozen Grapes
For this snack you will need: -Grapes
This snack is very simple to make, but it tastes really good. All you have to do is put some grapes in a container and freeze them overnight. If you want, you can add lemon juice to make them more sour, or sugar to make them more sweet.
