Pummel Party

Pummel Party is another fun game to play with friends or even online players. Four to eight players can play this game. Pummel Party is set up sort of like a board game, where players attempt to make their way through the path and to the center of the map. However, other players will attempt to sabotage and challenge each other so that getting to the center of the map can be extremely hard.

All players will start at the same square, and each player will have a different icon so that players can be easily identified. At the beginning of every player’s turn, they will roll a die and move that many spaces down the path.

At specific spaces on the map, players can gain certain items such as punching gloves and rocket launchers, which can also be used to sabotage other players and force them to spaces further behind. For example, the punching glove may be used to punch anyone within range to any location in a given radius.

Also a part of Pummel Party are the minigames, in which all players are transported into an arena and given a task they must complete. Players must battle or race it out using a plethora of skills and items to determine who will come out on top. Upon the completion of everyone in the game, players are given their rankings/places, and top performers are given boosts or advantageous items.

As players progress through the board, certain spaces, if landed on, offer the chance to earn golden keys. These gold keys are necessary if players want to access certain shortcuts or open treasure chests that appear on the board. Shortcuts, like the name implies, offer a shorter distance to travel in exchange for gold keys while treasure chests can hold almost anything of use.

Pummel Party is extremely fun to play with friends because it exudes a sense of friendly competition, which can be really funny and maybe slightly rage-inducing. Either way, Pummel Party is a great way to hand out with friends if you’re looking for a game that isn’t exactly hard or requires focus, but rather one that is light-hearted while also a little competitive at times.
