National Archives: National History Day Resources: Highly recommend the national archives! They have a wide array of items and primary sources including digitized photos, media, and articles relating to events spanning a vast amount of historical events.

BBC News: On This Day: Great if you want to easily search by a specific date and pull up articles, videos, and photos of and about events that happened on today’s date from WWII and 1950-2005. You can also search by year, theme, or witness accounts.

Today in History – Library of Congress: Gives you access to the Library of Congress Digital Archives American Memory Collection. Main search is by date, the site automatically adjusts to today’s date when you access it.
