2018 was a banner year for gaming, especially on the virtual reality (VR) front. With multiple platforms such as PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, and the HTC Vive, VR gaming is finding its way to more and more living rooms. It’s easy to get lost in the sheer number of games out there. The library is here to help you make informed decisions on adopting different sorts of technology.
Nobody wants to waste money on a poorly crafted game. Nothing is worse than showing off new VR tech to your friends/family and nobody enjoys the game. Bad experiences like that can turn people off VR. Luckily, more and more libraries are creating events based off of VR. If you’re interested in VR tech, visit a Santa Clarita Library branch to check it out! In the future, we hope to offer events like VR experiences, gaming, and exploration. These experiences may cause dizziness and nausea, so take care when using VR tech. We also ask that participants be over the age of 13.
If you recently got VR tech at home, here are some game recommendations! Keep checking our calendar for VR-based events in the future!
