Valorant Character Reviews: Sage

Sage is a sentinel, meaning that she is best suited towards reinforcing the territory held by her team. This agent comes from China, and her trademark is providing safety for her team. She’s able to make sure everything is under control and that her team has a health advantage.

The first ability Sage is able to use is “Slow Orb.” Sage can throw these slowing orbs forward, and when they detonate upon landing, a section of the ground becomes a slowing field, and players who are caught in the field are slowed down. These orbs are great to use in entryways because it can give your team a heads-up that the enemy is arriving, and you’ll have the speed advantage.

Sage’s next ability is perhaps the most useful ability on the battlefield: “Healing Orb.” She can use a healing orb on herself or any hurt ally. Once the orb is launched, it will activate a
heal-over-time, and players will almost always restore all of their health. This is a really good
power to have on your team because it allows players on Sage’s team to be more risky with their plays and always have more health than the other team.

“Barrier Orb” is Sage’s third ability. This orb allows Sage to put up a solid wall wherever she
wants. This wall can be broken when hit enough times, but it will take quite a bit of force before it can break. This wall is particularly handy when the team needs a safe place to plant the spike. It is also good for keeping enemies out of the site.

Sage’s ultimate ability is “Resurrection.” This ability is a really good one to have on hand if your team is outnumbered or in a sticky situation. Sage is able to resurrect any fallen ally, and after a few seconds, the player will be brought back to life with full health. However, during the few seconds it takes for the player to come back to life, an enemy player can kill the person being resurrected, so make sure to keep an eye on the player being brought back until they are fully revived.

Sage is a reliable player when it comes to ensuring the safety of her teammates. She is particularly good to have if you think your team might need a little help with staying alive. Sage is also easy to play, making her an ideal candidate for beginning players.
